Manifesting Creative Abundance

I haven't been blogging because I've struggled with perfection on here. Who cares that traveling has changed, my life is more than traveling, but what could I possibly have to say? I have nothing to say, nothing to share. That's a lie. I have so much to say. In a year full of so much turmoil and uncertainty, I have been manifesting creative abundance.

My first novel is "done". This year I became an author. She's still unpublished, and I'm in the process of editing her, but my first draft is complete. I haven't quite figured out a title for her, but from what I hear that's what a publisher will determine. I want to go the traditional route for publishing my novel and plan to start my search for a lit agent in the next few months. For now, let's call her Elle. Elle is the name of my main character and I can't wait to share her story with you.

Dog Mom Travel Diaries, a travel blog, yes, but now I will share my writing and publishing journey here. I've created this space, and no longer will I listen to 'the rules' of blogging. My goal is not to 'go viral', make money, or get collaborations. It's to find connection + community. I want my art to resonate and eventually to hold my own book in my hands.

I'm my own boss and all of these rules on how to blog correctly...meh. My art, my words are out there, shared on the internet perfectly imperfect. I forgot which inspirational coach said it, *note that I should probably figure that out*, but they said in so many words that your art isn't really art until it's shared....alas. Let it resonate, let it be received. This never-ending cycle of perfectionism I found myself in need to be cast aside; creativity isn't perfect and that's why it's so beautiful.

Oh, and here's an awesome Christmas EDM playlist I found on Spotify. You're welcome, it's awesome + you'll definitely be dancing until Santa arrives.

Until next time everyone, and remember, to all the creatives out there, your art is SO necessary. Manifest your magic and creativity. <3

xoxo
