5 Fab Beach Reads

I’ve noticed that the more I read, the happier I am. In the past two years, I’ve started to really prioritize reading in my daily routine, and the results have been a few correct answers on Jeopardy and happiness. Here are some of my favorite beach reads for you to enjoy if you haven’t already!

Waiting at Hayden’s by Riley Costello

Riley slays the romance genre with this fabulous book. The writing was so genuine and realistic. It’s a great, light read for the beach, and the characters will keep you guessing until the end. Not to mention, this is the first novel with Shopfiction, and you can shop the looks that the characters are wearing. Pure. Genius.

Girl,  Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis

The queen is at it again. GSA is the step-by-step guide and tool for how you can achieve your goals and dreams. Rachel Hollis is an empowering and inspirational boss and this book is a must-read this summer. If you haven’t read it yet, you should also read, Girl, Wash Your Face (her first NYT Bestselling book).

The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory

Such a great love story! It’s not mushy-gushy, and it’s full of Los Angeles drama. This is a fun read that you’ll definitely enjoy while lying by the pool, or while eating some cupcakes?

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

This is definitely a beach read to be paired with a fun boat drink! It’s steamin’ hot and you’ll be so invested in the main characters’ lives. I mean, we’re friends, right?

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert

I couldn’t put this one down. Elizabeth Gilbert throws inspiration and motivation around like confetti. This is great if you’re a creative, though being creative doesn’t necessarily mean you’re talented in the arts. Plus, the cover is SO summer.

These reads should keep you busy for a little while. Enjoy!
