Omg, I have an editor!

You read that right! Seriously, O.M.G!

I recently rewrote my manuscript for Elle in three days. It was all there, but it needed more, and wow is all I can say. I’m so ridiculously proud.

After my three-day writing bender, I decided to query editors to get some professional help with Elle before I do the big thing and submit her to agents. I queried six editors, and three wanted to help me! I was beside myself, I hardly expected anyone to contact me even though deep down I know that Elle is fantastic (my beta readers even think so). BUT imposter syndrome is real. I cried when I got the first email for an offer and then bawled when the editor I’d had my eye on sent me an offer right off the bat. It was surreal actually.

So on June 14, Elle is heading to the editor’s desk! I’m so thrilled to be working with the wonderful Ema Barnes. She used to be on the agency side, so hopefully, between the two of us, we can get Elle a home with an agent.

Ahh, can you even believe this is finally happening?!
